DAWN BROTHERTON IS AN AWARD-WINNING AUTHOR, KEYNOTE SPEAKER, INSTRUCTOR, AND WRITER FOR VARIOUS WILLIAMSBURG MAGAZINES.
Welcome to my crazy, hectic world. As you browse my books, you’ll notice a range of genres, because I get easily bored if I do the same thing for too long. I have so many ideas bouncing around in my head, it’s a race to see what will come out first.
In the evenings, I try to pull myself away from the computer. That means I end up at the sewing machine trying a different quilt pattern or repeating some of my favorites. I can spend hours sorting through my stash of fabric looking for the right color combinations.
But when the lure of fabric isn’t scratching that itch, I pull out the acrylic paints and see what crazy animal I can come up with. The originals hang in my upstairs hallway, and I’m growing quite the zoo.
I also dabble with resin, 3D printing, and crochet. I’m working on a mosaic now–with a dragon, of course.
I wanted you to know what you’re getting yourself into as you explore this site. 🙂 Welcome, and I hope to hear from you.
